Launched in January 2010, Kidult is the brainchild of Pharrell Williams, recording artist, musician, fashion designer andBillboard Magazine’s Producer of the Decade. Pharrell created Kidult.com to deliver news and entertainment content that respects the intelligence, discerning tastes and diverse interests of today’s savvy teens (a.k.a. “kidults”, ages 14-20). The site offers edited and user-generated content covering a wide range of topics including politics, science, environment, fashion, business and entertainment. As an extension of the Kidult brand, Pharrell is organizing the 2010 Kidult Youth Leadership Conference to provide teens/kidults with the tools and resources needed to be today’s next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs and global citizens.
